Why did we design a power bank?
Like most of you, I use my phone far more than my laptop or desktop computer. But I was always running out of juice at critical times during the day.
I checked out over 100 types of power bank phone chargers and found most were bulky, required separate charging cables, and were hard to hold. None had all the features I was looking for to charge my phone quickly.
Years of marketing research revealed that I wasn’t the only one seeking the same features.
The proverbial wheels began to turn, and I decided to build my own power bank. I partnered with a renowned consumer electronics design company, PHD Energy, out of Austin, and created a high-quality, lightweight power bank with built-in charging cables (so you can’t lose them!).
The result is the +[iCharge-it!]- power bank.
This portable phone charger has all the features consumers were asking for, plus it magnetically attaches to the back of phone/phone cases and tables.
So what? It magnetically attaches to a phone. There are power banks out there like that. Our answer is “not like ours,” and here’s why.

For example, it will charge an iPhone 8 from dead battery to 60% in 30 minutes. And we do it safely. The power bank doesn’t get warm and can be recharged over 500 times using a standard micro USB cable.
And it does that quickly too.
Dead to 100% in a couple of hours using a standard USB wall charger. It has a rugged hard shell and, with proper care, will last years. I’m still using the prototypes well into the fourth year, and it’s working great.
